Veronika Muehlhofer leaves Swiss Rugby CEO position

Zurich, 08.05.2021 - Veronika Muehlhofer has announced that she will be leaving her full-time position as CEO of the Swiss Rugby Union, by September 2021. Veronika has been in the position since June of 2013.

“After 8 years as CEO of the FSR, I have decided that it is time for me to take a new step in my professional development. As many people know, I’ve worked extensively in the area of international federation management, major events, and other areas of sports management, and I would like to develop further in those directions.” explains Veronika.

“It has been my honor and pleasure to work with the various stakeholders in and around Swiss Rugby, and I cannot thank them enough for the support, trust, and commitment they have shown to me and to the sport over the last years. I believe that we have accomplished an enormous amount of work and progress in the structuring, organization, and stabilization of the Federation and of Swiss Rugby, and am confident to be leaving it in a stable, sustainable, and viable situation for the future.”

To ensure the best possible succession, the FSR is in the process of preparing the recruitment of a successor(s). Further information on the subject will be communicated as soon as possible.
