Rugby Europe Launches new Website
The European Governing Body has developed an enhanced digital platform at www.rugbyeurope.eu
Paris, 19/01/2017 - Rugby Europe, the European governing body, responsible for the promotion, development, administration and management of international competitions for the 47 member unions across Europe, has launched its new website, intending to be closer to the ground, more connected with Rugby Europe members and more reflective of rugby fans expectations and needs.
Advised and developed by R9 Sport agency, Rugby Europe did a first step forward last year with the start of its Web-TV, rugbyeurope.tv, which aims to broadcast all Rugby Europe competitions among which Men’s Seniors and U18 European Championships, Men’s and Women’s Sevens Grand Prix Series. Around 100 games and 10 European Tournaments were livestreamed last season, gathering more than 1 Million viewers reaching over 160 countries.
The Web-TV will now be hosted on the rugbyeurope.eu website, and enriched with attractive content about games and competitions to offer additional information/data to rugby fans communities: live-feed, statistics, players lists, pictures/video, game-sheets
The digital social media #RugbyEurope platforms (Twitter, Instagram and Facebook) will be also present on a dedicated section in the website.
Rugby players, educators, and fans will also find the news headlines from the association in relation to competitions, training and education and members unions. They will as well have access to the schedule of our tournaments and all upcoming events, documentation and publications.

Rugby Europe is the governing body responsible for the promotion, development, administration and management of international competitions for the 47 member unions across Europe. The association organizes over 80 international games and 20 rugby tournaments each year, among which Men’s fifteen-a-side European Championship, U20 and U18 European Championships and the 7s’ Grand Prix Series (men and women).
