FSR News and Announcements
2015-2016 Season Game Schedule
The schedules for all Leagues have now been posted, amended, and finalized based on feedback by the club presidents. The final versions are now online on the Suisserugby Website, under “Competitions”.
FSR Sport & Technical Meeting (Former Kick-Off Meeting)
Starting this year, we will make 3 changes to the Kick-Off Meetings, normally held 2 times per year, before the start of the season in August and in February:
1- New name: The meetings will now be called “FSR Sport & Technical Meeting”
2- New Timing: there will be 3 such meetings each year – one at the end of summer break, one during the winter break, and one towards the end of springtime.
3- New contents: as we started during the last year, the meetings will be used to discuss detailed sporting and technical aspects of Swiss Rugby, including scheduling, playing formats, player development, club development, coaching education, etc. The meetings will be used to discuss new ideas or upcoming changes as well as to get feedback from the clubs on developments, ideas, and projects.
Attendance: Each club is requested to send to the Sport & Technical Meetings a representative who is closely involved in the sporting activities, as well as the development, and on-field activities of the club. This could be the club president, but it could also be another member of the staff or committee instead.
1st FSR Sport & Technical Meeting (ex Kick-off Meeting): Sunday, August 30th, 2015
