On Sunday 4 September, the World Rugby Level 1 introduction to refereeing course took place in Bern.
On Sunday 4 September, the World Rugby Level 1 introduction to refereeing course took place in Bern.
12 new candidates attended this course, led by World Rugby educators Rachel Boyland, Aurélie Lemouzy and Nick Dobney.
This practice-oriented course introduced the referee's approach to rugby, both in its preparation for a match and the management of phases of play such as kick-offs, offsides, rucks, mauls, scrums and touches.
