Swiss XV's season ending on a high with CUP FINALS 2023
The CUP FINALS 2023 brought the Swiss XV's rugby season 2022/23 to a brilliant end on Saturday, June 24th at Stade du Littoral in Colombier.
SUISSE RUGBY CUP FINALS 2023
The XV's season 2022/23 ended on a high with the FSR CUP match between LUC Rugby 2 and host Neuchatel SRC followed by the SUISSE CUP game where RC Yverdon had to face RC Avusy.
On a hot and sunny day at Stade du Littoral in Colombier, the CUP FINALS barely kept the spectators in the stands due to the tremendous fighting spirit of all four teams. Both games were hard-fought until the last second and the teams demonstrated incredible stamina in windy 30 degree weather.
At the end of the exciting day of skillfull rugby, the players from LUC RUGBY 2 held the FSR CUP in their hands. About two hours later, RC Yverdon walked off the field as winners with the SUISSE CUP.
