The Swiss national men's squad is strongly ranked at the top positon thanks to its multiple wins in the Rugby Europe Men's Trophy. In November 2023, the team around head coach Olivier Nier secured additional points with it's 23:12 win against Sweden in Yverdon and a 31:17 defeat over Lithuania on November 11th in Klaipeta (LTU).
The European title and the promotion to the Championship league are within reach. The Swiss XV's team was reported as one of the biggest morvers by World Rugby and is currently ranked 26th in the World Rugby Men's ranking.
