« Talent Treff Tenero » (3T): Swiss rugby invited for the first time

From 20th to 27th September 2020, the camp for young sportsmen and women « Talent Treff Tenero » (3T) took place at the National Sports Center in Tenero.
Organised by Swiss Olympic, the 3T allowed 567 young talents from 27 different sports to enjoy optimal training conditions and workshops on a wide range of topics – in accordance with protection measures against coronavirus. Athletes have been educated about the fight against doping, the Olympic values, the Swiss Sports Aid Foundation and performance diagnostics.
For the very first time, rugby was represented with 19 Swiss players holding a Swiss Olympic Card (list in attachment); they were supervised by the heads of the SuisseRugby Academies Patrice Philippe (Nyon) and Rahel Bosshard (Zurich) as well as the National Technical Director, Sébastien Dupoux.
The program was busy for our young athletes with 3 training sessions per day, which was something new for them.
The next « Talent Treff Tenero » (3T) is planned for May 2021.
