Rugby has no age limit: Suisse Oldies Festival 2026 in Bern

On Saturday, 24 October, around 150 rugby players aged 35 to 70 will gather in Bern for the second Suisse Oldies Festival.
Following the first edition in Nyon in 2025, the Suisse Oldies Festival returns this year at Grosse Allmend in Bern. Women and Men Teams from Zurich, Winterthur, Lucerne, Zug, Bern, the Vaud Riviera, Fribourg, Valais, Lausanne, Nyon, Geneva and Hermance are expected to take part.
The festival is about much more than the games. It’s a chance to get back on the rugby field, catch up with former teammates and celebrate a shared passion for the game. t’s an opportunity to reconnect with former teammates, enjoy being back on the rugby field and share a passion that brings people together year after year. Whether playing with or without contact, the focus is on enjoying the game, team spirit and spending time together. Because when you love rugby, that passion stays with you.
This year, the festival is organised in partnership with the FossyBears, Bern’s rugby veterans. Their commitment and enthusiasm will help make the event a special gathering for the rugby community.
