Flag Rugby

Since 2022,

the Foundation Trajets and RC GePlo have created a flag rugby section for anyone who wants to play rugby, but above all to promote the sport to people with mental disabilities.

The Foundation Trajets' ‘Sporting Club’ aims to improve the inclusion of its members through sporting activities.

Former RC GePlo players asked the committee for help in developing this new section when they discovered that the Special Olympics* movement was promoting the development of this discipline following the partnership between SPI (Special Olympics Italia) and the FIR (Italian Rugby Federation).

*Special Olympics is the world's largest sports movement for people with intellectual disabilities.

With more than 30 members, half of whom are supported by the Foundation Trajets, the flag section is starting its fourth season for the year 2025-2026.

Since 2023, the section has been participating in the Paris tournament, co-organised by Racing 92 and Special Olympics France. And since 2024, the section has been organising the Geneva's Flat Tournament.
