Switzerland have reached their highest ever position in the World Rugby Men’s Rankings powered by Capgemini.
A 32-22 win in the Rugby Europe Men's Trophy on April 1st, 2023 over Croatia in Markarska improved their rating to 55.32 points, which was enough for them to overtake Brazil and move into 27th place. Switzerland had already been confirmed as Trophy champions prior to the encounter but the win ensured they ended the campaign with a near perfect record.
Congratulations and a big round of applause for the men's national team's fourth straight victory. They finished 10 points clear of runners-up Ukraine in the Trophy standings after picking up 19 of the 20 points available.
