After the Covid-Break, the FSR is proud to announce the resumption of activities on the pitches of the various training centers of its national performance academies. After months of individual training, our best young players from U16 to U20 will once again be able to meet in the strictest respect of health and hygiene concepts to progress their skills and abilities: the program includes improving physical and technical skills, in addition to their club work.

Since March 1st, some 30 players from the clubs of Bern, Basel, Würenlos, Zurich Rugby Academy, Winterthur, and Zug have been training in Zurich every Monday under the coordination of NSRV Regional Technical Director Rahel Bosshard and with the support of the coaches of the clubs in the region.

Since March 8th, the 25 best youngsters from the clubs of GPLO, Nyon, Morges, ERL, Neuchatel, La Chaux-de-Fonds, and Riviera train every Monday with the sports director of the AVR, Patrice Philippe, and Josselin Lapierre in Nyon.

New for the 2020-21 season:

The Geneva cantonal center, supervised by ACGR regional technical director Simon Berruyer and Josselin Lapierre, will open its doors every Wednesday afternoon from March 24th on the Vessy pitch (Geneva) for selected players from GPLO, Avusy, CERN, and Servette.

Sean Seale, from Upside Strength, will plan and monitor the development of the players' physical abilities for the 3 training centers.
